In a move to give back to society, ICICI Lombard General Insurance kicked off its 10th Founders’ Day celebration with a pledge to give back to society. Employees across 25 cities of ICICI Lombard came together to put into action the ‘Giving Beyond The Workplace’ Campaign.

As a part of this campaign, employees of ICICI Lombard organized free dental and health camps for the students of Municipal Schools across the country with the help of doctors from reputed hospitals.

Speaking on the successful completion of this initiative, Bhargav Dasgupta, MD& CEO, ICICI Lombard GIC commented, “Being the leaders in health insurance, we felt that it would be ideal to conduct health check-ups for the underprivileged children. The ‘Giving Beyond The Workplace’ campaign is our humble way of giving back to the society. It is indeed heartening to see all our employees come forward and join hands for such a noble cause. We would like to thank all the doctors who partnered with us and supported our commitment towards protecting the health of our children.”

The ‘Giving beyond the Workplace’ Campaign covered 67 municipal schools at 64 locations across 25 cities. Close to over 12,400 underprivileged children benefited from this employee-driven outreach campaign. As one of the leading health insurance providers, ICICI Lombard General Insurance believes in helping the society by creating awareness and taking care of the health needs of all, particularly the underprivileged that are not covered in formal healthcare programmes.
